He returned to Bonn in 1792, where he continued his musical training. In 1794, his father died, and he assumed responsibility for the care of his two younger brothers. In 1795, Beethoven composed his first symphony. He continued to compose music, and by 1802 he had completed six symphonies. His health began to decline in 1802, and by 1811 he was completely deaf.
