The Lavishly Expensive Mansions That Celebrities Call Home

Most of us will only ever have the fantasy of living in the lavish mansions of famous people that we see in architectural magazines. While some of us wish we had a washer and dryer in our apartments, celebrities worry about where to put their own shark tank and which Lamborghini to drive each day.

You’ll be shocked by how celebrities live and will wonder “why, how, and how much?” These are the shocking homes of the world’s most famous people.

Taylor Swift – $17.8 Million

Taylor Swift chose a different path than most celebrities, who frequent the coastal media hubs of Los Angeles and New York. She may have a home in Nashville, where she first gained notoriety as an artist, but her most impressive estate is located in Rhode Island—a small state, to boot.

Other than the fact that it’s a stunning 11,000 square foot beachfront mansion with views of the Atlantic Ocean, we’re not sure why anyone would want to purchase a home on Watch Hill in Rhode Island. Taylor spent $17.8 million on the home, which has seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms.

Lady Gaga – $22.5 Million

If you’ve ever visited one of the beaches in the Malibu region of Southern California, you know for sure that Zuma Beach is an utterly flawless construction. Lady Gaga, a famous singer, took notice of this and bought a house right above it.

The pop star moved into her Malibu mansion in 2014 after paying $22.5 million for it. The house has a rustic design, an open floor plan, and exposed wood beams. Lady Gaga has dubbed the location her “Gypsy Palace” and is obviously gaga for it.

Eddie Murphy – $35 Million

The Lavishly Expensive Mansions That Celebrities Call Home

Eddie Murphy made the decision to purchase 3.7 acres of land and construct a home on it in 2001, proving that not all of Beverly Hills’ land has been developed. You can’t really complain too much because even though the land alone cost $10 million, it also had neighbors like Denzel Washington and Rod Stewart.

Although the 40,000-square-foot mansion’s construction cost is unknown, it is a magnificent residence that was constructed at some point in the 19th century in the Classical Italianate style. Even better than most of the houses in your neighborhood, it has a guest house.

Demi Moore – $75 Million

The Lavishly Expensive Mansions That Celebrities Call Home

The majority of the houses on this list stand alone and are unconnected to anything else. but not this one. For $75 million, Demi Moore acquired this penthouse apartment in New York City in 2015. Due to its size and cost, it has been called a “floating mansion”.

The triplex penthouse is 7,000 square feet in size and has six bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms. It also features magnificent plaster ceiling molds, a fireplace decorated with turquoise tile, and a 1,500 square foot terrace that encircles the tallest tower of the building.

Justin Bieber – $25.8 Million

The Biebs and his brand-new wife Hailey needed a home of their own, so they purchased this stunning $25.8 million mansion in the Beverly Park district of North Los Angeles. You can’t just walk into Beverly Park and start cutting the grass, so don’t expect to see Justin doing it if you’re driving by.

The Bieber family struck incredible good fortune with this property. It had been intermittently listed for sale for years with a $42 million starting price. They were able to purchase it for slightly more than half of that sum. Perhaps he’s not just good looks, singing, and dancing after all?

Aaron Rodgers – $28 Million

The Lavishly Expensive Mansions That Celebrities Call Home

After winning multiple MVP awards with the Packers, one would assume that Rodgers would have the best house available in Green Bay. He may have a $28 million Malibu mansion that he and his ex-girlfriend Danica Patrick bought in 2019, but he also has that. Prior to that, singer Robbie Williams was the previous owner of the property, and Janet Jackson had even been leasing it.

Naturally, the Malibu home has an entertainment room with all-glass doors and is located directly on the beach. That makes it simple to switch the area from an indoor to an outdoor setting, which is perfect for Rodgers to make the most of his limited free time during the offseason.

Jennifer Aniston – $21 Million

The Lavishly Expensive Mansions That Celebrities Call Home

One of Hollywood’s sexiest leading ladies is Jennifer Aniston. Although she is more beautiful and wealthy than you will ever be, she also seems like a really fun and down to earth person. Her house appears to be a good representation of that character.

Aniston’s Bel Air mansion is only 8,500 square feet, though it is not tiny. Famous architect A. Quincy Jones, known for his modernist designs, constructed it in the 1960s. The house is completely surrounded by gardens and other greenery, which helps keep energy inside and stress outside. It is minimalistic both inside and out.

Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen – $29 Million

The Lavishly Expensive Mansions That Celebrities Call Home

Brady and his supermodel wife Gisele have multiple homes; they are far from a one-house family. The home they moved into after Brady signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, however, merits investigation. Baseball legend Derek Jeter, who built the mansion, is actually renting it to them for $75,000 a month.

The 22,000 square foot home is situated on 1.25 acres of gorgeous Davis Island close to downtown Tampa. The 80-foot lap pool, theater, full-service bar, boat dock, and nine bathrooms are all included in the seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom mansion that is directly on the water. If Brady stays in Tampa Bay and this dream house after announcing his NFL retirement, that is the question.

Kylie Jenner – $16 Million

The Lavishly Expensive Mansions That Celebrities Call Home

Kylie Jenner, one of the youngest billionaires in the world, undoubtedly has a lavish mansion where she spends her days. The “self-made” portion of her net worth is debatable, but her extravagant home is unquestionably not.

Kylie resides in a stunning 13,200-square-foot mansion in Los Angeles’ Hidden Hills district. She spent twice as much on this house—$16 million—as she did on her other two homes. Yes, Kylie already owns two additional homes in the LA region, which cost $6 million and $8 million, respectively.

Clint Eastwood – $9.75 Million

The Lavishly Expensive Mansions That Celebrities Call Home

Clint Eastwood’s residence is probably influenced by a number of his on-screen personas. The man famous for playing a horse-riding cowboy in numerous western films resides in a Hacienda-style home that actually allows nature to enter.

Adobe walls, a terracotta tiled roof, and lovely Spanish wooden doors are features of the Spanish mission-style house in Pebble Beach, California. The house is constructed around a central fountain in true “Hacienda” style, which sounds like it would be quite tranquil.

Tiger Woods – $40 Million

The Lavishly Expensive Mansions That Celebrities Call Home

Formerly the most valuable athlete in the world, Tiger Woods has his own little haven in Jupiter, Florida. The well-known golfer’s lavish mansion is right on the beach, features two separate swimming pools, a boat slip, and, of course, a private golf course.

The house, which cost Woods $40 million back in 2006, is essentially everything a man like Tiger could ever want. Beach, golf, sun, and 9,000 square feet of lovely, opulent Florida living. However, I have to wonder if he has a guy to keep the alligators at bay.

Britney Spears – $3 Million

The Lavishly Expensive Mansions That Celebrities Call Home

Another reminder that not every mansion on this list is in Los Angeles Britney Spears is a simple Louisianan girl at heart. Britney didn’t choose the flashy lights of Los Angeles when it came time to spend the cash on a mega-mansion.

In the end, she returned to Louisiana, where she could be authentic. She spent $3 million on the home in 1999, but considering how far away it is from TMZ’s cameras, it might have been worthwhile. Now that Jamie Lynn, her sister, is living there, it’s a pretty sweet arrangement.

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith – $42 Million

The Lavishly Expensive Mansions That Celebrities Call Home

Some of the houses are modest, but some are quite ostentatious. If you went to Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith’s house, you would need a map with a “You Are Here” sticker on it. The Smith residence is situated on 150 acres of land in Calabasas, California.

The actual “home” is 25,000 square feet in size and took 7 years to complete. The Smiths drew inspiration from various places for a home this size. You’ll notice themes from Asia, the Mediterranean, and Africa if you ever get the chance to visit. The entranceway was taken from an Indian fort.

Jake Paul – $20 Million

The Lavishly Expensive Mansions That Celebrities Call Home

In Miami’s E11even Residences Beyond tower in 2021, Jake Paul and his brother Logan each invested more than $20 million in a pair of penthouses. The 65-story hotel and condominium skyscraper houses the three-bedroom condos that the Paul brothers purchased, each with its own plunge pool.

For its residents, the E11even Residences Beyond tower in downtown Miami offers ridiculous amenities like a casino, a spa, and a rooftop area with undoubtedly breathtaking views once construction is complete. Condos in the building start at $300,000, so one can only speculate as to what a $20 million condo will look like.

Ariana Grande – $13.7 Million

The Lavishly Expensive Mansions That Celebrities Call Home

Ariana Grande resides in the Bird Streets section of the Sunset Strip. You might be curious about how the neighborhood got its name right now. No, it’s because all the streets are named after birds, not because there are a lot of birds living there.

The location of AG’s establishment is in the center of the increasingly famous neighborhood. On a LA street with an avian name, Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, Jodie Foster, and Keanu Reeves all reside. She shelled out a cool $13.7 million for Ariana’s home.
