In less than a decade, Netflix has evolved from a Blockbuster (R.I.P.) alternative to a whole original content powerhouse. The platform began with the popular drama House of Cards and has since produced hundreds more TV series, introducing the phrase “binge-watching” into common parlance.

Despite the success of many Netflix original programs on the streaming service, a significant proportion of popular shows are canceled before their final season is finished. There is nothing worse than a premature and abrupt conclusion to a program in which we have committed significant time.
